Some people are into crossword puzzles. Alex, on the other hand, loves solving problems with imagery and type. His early art education started on lunch benches provided by the Los Angeles public school system, where he found an interest in drawing with other immigrant kids, many of whom did not speak the same language but found a common one in art.

He attended Cal Poly Pomona and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He applied and furthered his skills working at various agencies and television networks in Los Angeles and New York City, including Disney, Nokia, Showtime, Imaginary Forces, Raison Pure and what he considers the career equivalent of the show Lost…NBC!

He currently lives in Jersey City, NJ with his wife and two sons, spending his free time alternating-street parking and writing songs that make him laugh.
